OVERVIEW
The Certificate IV in Government (Investigation) - PSP41504 and the Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) – PSP41404 are nationally recognised qualification accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). This program has been structured to provide participants with a single pathway to obtaining both awards through successfully completing the 15 units of competency specifically prescribed by this program. Please note if alternate elective units are selected the dual award option will not be available.
WHO SHOULD DO THIS PROGRAM?
Entry to this program is unrestricted with the only requirement being fluency in spoken and written English. There is no need for applicants to be currently working in the public sector or be currently involved in investigations or statutory compliance. However due to the specialized nature of the course this particular course it is not recommended for school-leavers or people who have joined the workplace for the first time within the last two years. Intending applicants who are currently working in public sector investigations or statutory compliance should consider completing this course, or part of this course, through our Facilitated Recognition Program (FRP).
STRUCTURE
This program involves the completion of four modules that cluster together units of a similar theme. Modules may be completed in any sequence and at a pace that suits the student with a maximum duration of two (2) years. On successful completion of all four modules participants are awarded the two qualifications.

IN-HOUSE DELIVERY
Workshop modules may be delivered in-house for groups of 10 or more people from the same organisation. Course fees are discounted however travel costs will apply if outside Sydney metropolitan area. A formal quote may be provided in relation to the potential delivery of this course in-house.

* Payment involves an initial payment of $1000 prior to commencement with the remaining fees payable on completion of the first two modules but prior to the commencement of the final two modules. If workshop mode is selected the remaining fees become payable following attendance at a workshop. People who enrol to complete a module by distance education may subsequently elect to complete one or more modules by workshop (if available) however an additional fee will apply. For units completed by RPL the Distance fee rate applies.
