DIPLOMA OF GOVERNMENT (INVESTIGATION)
OVERVIEW
The Diploma of Government (Investigation) - PSP51704 is a nationally recognised qualifications accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). There are eleven units covering the competencies required by those responsible for coordinating public sector investigations.
WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE?
Entry to this program is unrestricted with the only requirement being fluency in spoken and written English. There is no need for applicants to be currently working in the public sector or be currently involved in investigations. However due to the specialised nature of the course this particular course it is not recommended for school-leavers or people who have joined the workplace for the first time within the last two years.
STRUCTURE
This program involves the completion of four modules that cluster together units of a similar theme for both general and specialised work functions within the public sector. The area of specialisation for this qualification is the coordination and performance of public sector investigations. There are four modules:
Corporate Investigations
Government Operations
Public Sector Values
Investigations Project Management
On successful completion of all four modules participants are awarded the qualification. The course may be completed by distance learning or a blended program of distance learning and workshops. The two investigation specific module may be completed by workshop. These workshops are held periodically in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

* Payment involves an initial payment of $1000 prior to commencement with the remaining fees payable on completion of the first two modules but prior to the commencement of the final two modules. If workshop mode is selected the remaining fees become payable following attendance at a workshop. People who enrol to complete a module by distance education may subsequently elect to complete one or more modules by workshop (if available) however an additional fee will apply. For units completed by RPL the distance fee rate applies.
